Conquer your enemies and make your mark on the pages of history.ArsenalCause mayhem with more than 80 useful weapons and pieces of equipment as well as a number of powerful guns, strategically situated on the maps. You can use them to gain an advantage over your opponent and create even more destruction on the battlefield. For those, who still crave more, the developers prepared a special feature, which allows players to create more powerful weapons of mass destruction while the opponent’s turn takes place. The ‘crafting’ feature allows the player to collect materials falling from the sky in crates during their turn, and make use of them in the same or opponent’s turn to create special kinds of already offered weapons. The crafted piece can be used in the next turn of the player, as the production of weapons takes time.Vehicles in Worms!Additionally, for the first time in the series, the developers gave the worms access to vehicles, which allow them to conquer the arena even faster. Now, you can become the pilot of a helicopter, or a driver of a tank, a Rocket League car or the Mech walker. Each vehicle has its own style and features, for example, the Rocket League car can help the worm to move faster and easier through the map and the tank can cause huge damage to the enemy team.In this game, you can gain tactical advantage and keep your worms safe by hiding them in the buildings scattered across the maps or set a trap for the opposing worms, who cannot see the interior. The developers also did not forget about the old fans of worms, as this edition uses a well-known classic physics system and the Ninja Rope. All these features are now topped off by the beautiful graphics, made in a hand-drawn style as well as many great visual effects accompanying the explosions. The sound effects and funny voices of the worms make the experience enjoyable for everyone.ReceptionThe game met with an overall positive response from the players, who highly praised its 2D graphics and the tremendous amount of new weapons. Additionally, the return to the formula of classic Worms games, while presenting new features keeps the game fresh and makes the PvP gameplay one of the best modes.
Born shortly after the invention of the printing press, Luther became one of Europe's best-selling authors, along with others like Erasmus, and his theology was mass produced across Europe. He strongly disputed the claim that freedom from God's punishment of sin could be purchased with money, known as indulgences, and he confronted indulgence salesman Johann Tetzel with his 95 Theses in 1517, one of the most important religious writings of all time. His refusal to retract all of his writings at the demand of Pope Leo X in 1520 and the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V at the Diet of Worms in 1521 resulted in his excommunication by the Pope and condemnation as an outlaw by the emperor. Luther, of course, did not back down. Although the story about him nailing 95 Theses to a church door is almost surely apocryphal, Luther continued that salvation is not earned by good deeds, but received only as a free gift of God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ as redeemer from sin. His theology also continued to directly challenge the Pope's authority by teaching that the Bible is the only source of divinely revealed knowledge. John Calvin (1509-1564) was one of the most important religious figures of the last millennium and an instantly recognizable name across the globe. Calvin was an influential French theologian and pastor during the Protestant Reformation, and the period when he was most active, the 1530s and 1540s, was marked by increased complexity and the diffusion of the Reformation into several branches. Alongside Martin Luther, Calvin was one of the central Reformers, and after fleeing to Basel, Switzerland, he published the Institutes of the Christian Religion in 1536. 1. Language: English. This essay takes up threads from the past in order to weave them together in the present. The story begins with silkworms in a Leipzig allotment association. The worms were bred for the Nazi arms industry, and silk was extracted from them as material for parachutes. In May 1941, thousands of German paratroopers landed on Crete in the largest airborne invasion in military history. The Germans occupied the island from 1941 to 1944, carrying out mass executions and burning villages to the ground. The Cretan women, who bred silkworms themselves, later worked the German parachutes into handkerchiefs. Women who witnessed events at the time recount the crimes of the Wehrmacht and recall the spinning, weaving, and sewing of silk thread-female techniques of memorization in which program and pattern merge. They constitute a counter-narrative to the one-sided historical account that often focuses only on the heroes. Deborah Jeromin is a visual artist. Since 2014, she has been working on Nazi silkworm breeding as an aspect of the arms industry and on the aftermath of the 1941 airborne invasion of Crete.
